Don’t toss the guts!
Those seeds make a great snack.
One of our favorite Halloween treats is a handful of roasted pumpkin seeds. They are amazingly easy to make and quite delicious.
- Separate the seeds from the fibers. This step will be a little messy, but it only gets easier from here.
- Preheat your oven to 300 degrees F.
- Toss 1 cup of seeds in a bowl with 2 teaspoons of melted butter. Add in a couple pinches of salt and pepper to taste.
- Spread the seeds in a single layer on a baking sheet and bake for about 45 minutes or until golden brown.
